A Little Bit About Me, Myself and the Piranha
Hello, my name is Reinette and I am the Managing Member of Creative Piranha.
What’s with the Piranha?
It was during my travels to the Amazon in 2008 that I fell in love with this little creature. Although it is vicious, I could identify with it on a different level. The piranha is a go getter, energetic and vigorous. That’s me…in a nutshell.
My qualifications:
I graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2002 with an Honors degree in BA Fine Arts with (specialization in Information Design.) While I was living and working abroad from 2004 to 2008, I discovered my true passion for Animation.
After I furthered my studies and completed my 3D Modeling & Animation course from the 3D Training Institute in New York in 2007, I returned to South Africa. Here I focused more intensively on Motion Graphics, Animation and 3D Modeling/Animation.
My Hobbies:
When I’m not working I’ll be busy with sport, socializing, art, reading or outdoorsy adventures. I spend most weekends with family and friends and I’m very proud of my country and my Afrikaans culture.
My Mission:
I believe that my skills, creativity and conceptual thinking can add value to every organization. I am a highly motivated problem solver and I pride myself to complete my work to perfection as well as to a specific deadline. I try my best to give all my clients personal and professional attention and advice where required. Being an excellent all-rounder and a team player, I enjoy working with like-minded people.
My Beliefs:
I believe that balance is key in succeeding in any business and life in general. I realize that without my God and Creator, none of what I have already achieved in my life would have been possible and I therefore I will be eternally grateful.
